Citiesskylines has a four tier education hierarchy and all citizens and jobs have a rating upon it. Have over 70 of citizens highly educated in a city of over 10000 people worth 30 gamerscore.

With regards to the industry if you upgrade the industry to level 3 it will employ primarily highly educated workers with a few lower education slots available but that will probably be filled by highly educated workers anyways. I have educated workers working at level 1 factories but not enough working at the commercial places which are closer to the houses. Not sure if this works with forestry and farming though. How can i fix this problem.

I get the same issue in my city of 80000 my commercial zone looks like dresden in april of 1945 with the amount of abandoned buildings there are i get not enough educated workers on all the buildings despite the fact that there is a massive need for commercial structures and 92 of my citizens have some form of education and the only people not educated are the unwilling and the infantile. How do you get more educated workers for your city. So i put down a few offices and now a bunch of my commercial buildings around the city are complaining about not enough educated workers.

Youre actually not doing anything wrong what youre describing i consider an early game oversight from the developers. Circle city is growing rapidly. Skylines something a lot of us run into is buildings saying they dont have enough workers when it seems like theres more than enough to go around.

But small issue i have no idea what im doing. So im guessing that higher educated workers might prefer to work elsewhere but if there are enough. Please comment below if.

Commercial is the only zone where education isnt a requirement for level up and because no one ever gets fired its down to luck whether commercial buildings get enough educated workers after leveling up or not. Make sure each road has bus line coverage and metro connections and parks help as well. Everything was running relatively fine until i unlocked the office zone.
